Finally processed Mars animation from October!

Recommended Posts

Finally got around to processing my attempt at a Mars animation from all the way back in October, Would have gone on longer but was interrupted by cloud. Think that was what put me off, thinking it was incomplete. Turned out well though, for a first attempt, some frames were awful but I have included a couple of the frames that look really good. I know that the south pole is at the top but it just didn't look right the other way around! Taken with a asi120mm through a C9.25 with best 50% of 10000 frames in each RGB channel.

Really nice and smooth.

Where does the time go?  I've still got an animation to complete  from the 2017 total eclipse !!!

Since Mars was from October, I suppose it does and doesn't show Perseverance.....  ;)

Great results! What telescope where you using?

Thanks! I was using a Celestron C9.25 with no Barlow at it's normal F10 with an asi120mm-s camera through RGB filters.
