cleanining and collimation for a C8

Hello, I would like to know if there is anyone in the london area who provides a collimation and cleaning service for celestron scopes in particular a C8 schmidt.

Jonathan, how bad is the C8 and is it the mirror or the corrector plate that needs cleaning? The collimation of the mirror is not too difficult; it just needs a little patience and maybe changing the adjustment screws over to a set of bobs knobs. You could try David Hinds who specialise in Celestron optics and mirrors. If you live in London try and get to the astrofest in Kensington and ask some of the vendors there but don’t panic just yet. Steve
