I-Optron CEM60 usb cable

I am just trying to tidy up my cabling a bit. Most cables I have are now pretty much optimal lengths but one pain in the backside is the mount cable which consists of the original Serial cable (RS232 to RJ9) that came with the mount connected to a RS-232 to USB adapter cable.
all works fine but Its just a bit of pain with all the weight of the rs-232 plug and adapter hanging off the usb port of the RPi and it need support.

So I just wondered if anybody had released a slicker all in one cable with the rs-232 adaptor incorporated.

Not familiar with the mount but is it something like this you are after

It is and I had seen this but not sure if this is the one that connects to the handset and not the mount which is not really what I wanted as the RPi it connects to is on the rig itself.

I need to dig a bit more, or buy one and see 🙂

You could just extend the RJ9 ( normally called RJ10 in the UK )  using a very light lead ( its just a 4P4C connector the same as used on telephone handsets ).
