Fix a pulley system on my dome. Much easier to open and close now.

Give my eyepieces and corrector plate a good, careful clean and give my scope and mount some much needed TLC. That way when the clear skies return I’m ready and waiting and I can guarantee that throughout the entire imaging and observing session absolutely nothing will go wrong, ever.

Well fitted new right angle finder scope , the very short window of Sun this morning set up my solar finder and between clouds had a quick look at some Sun spots

All cloud now so having a drink of cider and watch a film

Indulge in non weather-restricted hobbies? I can see a blurred crescent-moon showing but looks like that's all I'm getting. Doesn't look promising (again). Last night I looked out later on and saw most of Orion in a big gap in the fast-moving clouds. Soon gone though.

Learning arduino -working my way through the Arduino ASCOM Focuser Pro2 DIY.  On past experience my soldering is less than effective so I've gone for a solderless version.

I also forgot had a long chat with johninderby about IR filter and if removing the locking ring then screwing in another filter so it's a doubled up filter will work
