Intes-Micro  M500  127mm

Intes Micro M500, - VERNONscope Bino Viewer, - Half Hitch Mark 2 Mount, - Sky Commander Computer, - TiltAll #4602 Tripod & Adapter Plate..JPG

i always loved the idea of this scope - great quality, great size, great reputation. I "ummed and ached" for so long over it about two years ago that in the meanwhile the last one at the Widescreen center was sold and that was that (out of production - no new stock) - back to the drawing board.

My dream scope also though way down on my shopping list, unfortunately.

But that's ok, they're as much a thing of beauty to be looked at as looked through and I can look at yours! :)

I purchased the M500 from the Widescreen Centre while waiting for the Q7 to be built, which took almost two years before delivery. The Intes-Micro scope has been in dry storage since, so really, it needs to find a new home.

Skywatcher 1145p and 200p Dob during this mornings partial solar eclipse. Got some good views between the clouds. Daughter enjoyed it too. First time seeing a solar eclipse through a telescope, Shadow of moons mountains along the edge of the “bite” looked stunning. We also used eclipse glasses.

This thread has been a little quiet, so here is my little 76mm with Herschel Wedge and binoviewers. The views weren’t great today, fairly poor seeing every time I looked. One main AR and a couple of smaller ones, some macro granulation and faculae visible but nothing dramatic. First time out for a long time though, so was good to be out.

I've not used the AZGTI for many months since I replaced a missing washer inside the alt clutch. So making the most of a sunny afternoon.... Freshly cut grass, a couple of lines of washing out and white light solar with the Skymax 127.

A lovely day and so nice to feel the warm sun again. Spring really felt like it arrived this afternoon. Dandelions sprouting, pansies partying in the pots and massive bumble bees feasting. The cat even caught her first rat of the year and dropped it off for me.... 🫣

The AZGTI worked fine, keeping the sun in the centre of the 30mm Vixen NPL for around 45 minutes.

Great to hear the new washer on your AzGti worked very well indeed. Just such a simple easy set up of the AzGti and SM127. Providing you with a lovely view in the spring sunshine and dead rat for company 🐀😂

They're great little mounts when they work... 🙄 If the cloud keeps away later tonight I'll just pick the lot up, move it to my dark(er) corner, remove the filter, change the finder and carry on...

Your imaging skill never fails to impress me Nigella,  and this image of the Sun is nothing short of brilliant. (That's almost funny!)
