Hi guys, an update on the scope, I noticed a few redish coloured blotches on the drawtube focus shaft side and pinhead in size. I took the focuser apart, guess what "RUST" on the focus shaft, so I did a quick check on the net and lots of people have had this same problem.

Luckly it was only surface rust, and after removing the rust and repairing one of the small grub screws with the nylon head, everything is now ok, luckily those dual rate focusers are easy to strip down.

all I need now is a night when it decides not to cloud over after getting the scope out or as happened tonight it was clear so set it up, went in the house for 5mins came out side and it was thick fog lol.
