Canon 450D taking an age after shot taken to be ready for next exposure???

My Canon 450D is taking what seems like an age to be ready for next exposure after taking a picture in BULB mode.

Never had this problem with my 350D. Would it be the speed of the memory card I have or some internal settings?

Check you have not got it set to take an auto dark frame. On the 350d this is one of the custom functions, dont know about the 400d though....
