Hi John, I would call that a success then as you have indeed captured star trails. The image can be made more interesting if you are able to centre on Polaris as all the star trails will then form parts of concentric circles around it. You can experiment with different exposure lengths and different ISO settings to get the best effect. You have a big gap between one set of images and the longest run of images; was this intentional? lots of things to experiment with; look forward to seeing your future trails. If you're using Photoshop you can also stack right in the program by using the "Maximum" function (one way is to put all the images into a Smart Object and set its stacking mode.
