astro mick
I took this last night,in pretty windy conditions, often fearful of my scope (lol) Located in Auriga, its the emission Nebulae IC405. This is 3hrs of 5 minute subs using a Canon 1100D modded camera. The scope is a 102mm APO. Calibrated with darks and Flats. A Ha filter was also used. I,m sure their is more Nebulosity to pull out of this.but uncertain of the best way to tackle it without effecting the image overall. Cheers. Mick. Phillyo
Lovely image. I think your background is a little bit dark perhaps? If you raised it slightly you might be able to see a little more of the nebula too

astro mick
Cheeers for the comment, appreciate it. I often wonder what these Nebulae would look like close up,i do not think they would be awash with colour,as we seem to think, as we process images. Mick.
