Recommended Posts

Hello, I was looking for a camera for planetary imaging and an between these two in the title. I've read that alccd5l llc is very good and also cheap but I think zwo does also a good work to. Which of them is better. Are there maybe some alternatives. My budget is 300€. Any help appreciated

ASI224 is much better.

ALCCD5L-IIc - the same as QHY5L-IIc has the same sensor and performance as ASI120mc  - USB2.0 model

ASI224 has USB3.0, greater sensitivity and lower read noise.

I haven't used the ALccd5L-IIc, but I do know the ASI224MC is a great performer

what did you use to take that picture michael, was it a large-ish SCT. It's a super image.
