rigdoctor99
Hi my name is John, and I have been into astronomy for around 40 years. I have a 4.5" Newt sat under my bed and due to light problems here it has not moved for four and a half years The same goes for the astrophotography, but the radio astronomy works 24/7 what ever the weather......... Nice to be in a friendly forum... :venus:

barkis
Hi.John. Welcome John, It's a shame about your poor skies, and that poor little scope consigned to a place under your bed Nice to hear you are into Radio Astronomy though, I don't we have many on SGL doing that. A couple of reports on your 'observations'? would be very interesting. When you have settled in of course. Ron.

centroid
Hi John, and welcome to SGL.I think that you are our first Radio Astronomer. We have a few Radio Amateurs ( I'm G3***), but to the best of my knowledge, no radio astronomers. Will be most interested to hear any input that you have, on this branch of amateur astronomy.Dave
