Grabbed a quick hour Thursday night after work, quickly put the mount and scope up. I was a bit off with the alignment and it was windy so the odds were against me for imaging..

Managed to get this, the only usefull frame out of abot 10....

I used the evening experimenting with diferent ISO numbers etc.....

Forgot to mention taken with the 5" refractor and the Cannon D60

Thanks guys.

Although I enjoy using the webcam for planetary stuff, I prefer the DSLR deepsky stuff....Bit weird, but I find it easier than the Toucam!!

It's nice that people are starting to develope their imaging skills through this forum, if it wasn't for this place i'd of given up ages ago.

The imaging has me completely hooked. so much to learn and so many possible routes to follow. plenty to do when the clouds roll in

Yip!!

I have the cleanest optics in the West!!

The bad weather is set to continue for at least a week

So I'll be digging around the hard drive for those C- "Underachieving" images!!
