Hi all

Am back to imaging after a few months drought. Am still concentrating on the easier, brighter targets at the moment until I can get my guide scope set up.

Canon EOS 400D, Sigma 70-300 (set at 300), ISO 800, F5.6

CLS filter (clip)

Darks, Bias added n stacked in ImagesPlus, colour and curves tweaked in PS

My 70-300mm sigma lens is proving to be a good little 'widefielder' for piggybacking which allows me to use my main scope for guiding. In an ideal world I'd be using a nice little APO frac instead tho lol. Just over an hours exposure time and am pleased with the result, looking forward to adding more data on the next window of opportunity.
