My first go at saturn and got 2 of its moons too

That's a good effort. Cut down on the exposure time. You might not capture any moons, but the planets appearance will be a lot better.

Keep it up, you are improving.

Actually cut down the exposure for one set of images and increase it for another that way you can combine the images in an image editing program and get a decent planet image and more of the moons...

Yeah i see what u mean... i'll av another go tonight (depending on the weather) The pic at the top was 1 X 3 sec & 1 X 6sec exposure with iso 400, Used 2 X barlow and lunar/planitary filter. What exposure times do you guys usually use?
