focal reducers

While out imaging, the last time a couple of weeks agao due to weather, I tried to image M45 with my C80ed, SC1 Toucam and Attik 0.5x reducer (borrowed from Blinky).

Now, as you guys will probably know M45 does not fit on the sensor with this config.......

I got to thinking today, would it be possible to add another reducer into the light path and stack them like barlows thereby, hopefully, get M45 onto the chip.

Does anyone on here know if this is a goer? And if not suggest another way to get wider field images with the setup I have?
