Stanley Hey's radio observatory in Richmond Park

Does anyone have knowledge about the precise location of Stanley Hey's radio observatory in Richmond Park, 1942-1949, the first radio observatory in Britain, which emerged from Hey's wartime radar research. Published accounts appear not to be more specific than simply stating that the observatory was 'in Richmond Park'.   Any information gratefully received.

Many thanks.

At the time, Hey was working with the Army Operations Research Group, so it may be worthwhile looking online to see if they had any establishments in Richmond Park.

Hey's work on Cygnus A is associated with that of Parsons and Phillips, so you could also try searching against their names.

Two updates on the research:

#1 I have found a contact in the Friends of Richmond Park - apparently a US Professor asked the same question back in 2011 so I've asked the chair of FRP  if anyone was able to help him.

#2 Independently though, a 2007 copy of the Richmond Historical Society Journal (issue 28) has the following article, so it seems very likely that this is the site used. You can buy a back copy for £5
