Hi everyone!

Hi all,

Long-time lurker and keen photographer decided to finally say 'hi', having tried using my camera at night and being amazed by what it could do!

Bought myself a little Skywatcher Star Adventurer recently, to try and get some longer exposures, and super-excited about that having seen how many more stars my camera can "see" than my eyes!

Hope you're all keeping safe and well?

Derek

Welcome aboard SGL Derek. Good to have you with us.

The first time I looked at the milky way through a telescope blew my socks off. I still get a kick from the number of stars that's out there and wondering about the possibilities. There's a lot of cool stuff up there just waiting for you to point a camera at it. Enjoy grabbing those photons.

Thanks Mark!  Yes it's fascinating isn't it?!  I've been so excited getting into this, I just wish there were more clear nights to see it all!

Thanks again,

Derek
