upgrading my refractor whats best skywatcher 80 spirit or rvo horizon 72ed

Hi i am looking to buy my next refractor telescope but cant decide between skywatcher 80 spirit or rvo 72ed horizon has any members bought these 2 refractors to tell me the pros n cons of each refractor thanks.

It depends a great deal as to what form of upgrade you are seeking and from what current telescope.  A little more detail will be helpful.     🙂

Personally I dont see any contest between the two. The Esprit is a F5 FPL53 Triplet it wins hands down against the doublet.

If you're considering a doublet why not the SW Ed80 great value.

Thanks for the replys whats the best way to put a starsense as well as a guidescope on the skywatcher as i would buy one seems lack of mounts the problem?

The horizon would not be an upgrade in terms of optics in my opinion from your 72ed pro.
