NGC7822 in RGB

Recommended Posts

Grabbed NGC7822 in RGB 12x 900s in each RGB. Surprising how much variation in colour it has. Imaged taken with the12inch Newtonian and H35 camera.

thanks for looking

Peter

Thank you Francis....this object really has so much colour in it... but you tend to see more done in narrow band , which I can understand....stunning in HST colour

Lovely image Peter.  I have some narrowband and RGB data in the can for this object... I collected the RGB for star colour but I'm wishing I had more looking at this!

Thank you, if you take a good look at your blue and green frames I bet you will see it has quite a bit of signal in it

That's gorgeous. Lovely detail and very well processed.

Thank you, The seeing has been exceptional guiding RMS was right down  to 0.06 at times....I had to do a screen shot...Ive not seen it that low before its normally its around 0.2...the peak values are from the dithered exposures.....It really isn't bad from an EQ8 carrying over 35KG. The scope is 1140mm FL, OAG guided with a Loadstar...I cant complain at that.

Beautiful image Peter, I find this target is even better in rgb and you've presented an image with a great range of colour and detail.
