Arduino - Reading Rotary Switches

Nothing too exciting or original, but finding this a useful technique! 😎

"Surround" the rotary switch with 1k resistors, connect to the supply
rails and voila -- Read it out with ONE analog pin! In diagram form:

Personally I have found it *much* easier to implement using the following
SQUARE switches. Found on Ebay etc., ... I buy mine from TME Poland!

A bit fiddly... I use Veroboard in this weird "double sided" way... 😛

I usually chose resistors to TOTAL 10k Ohm. Hey, HTH someone sometime! 🙂
