As a kid, I lived through the Viking era. It was a wonderful time to be alive, just like the Voyager era and the Giotto probe.

I watched the first half on iPlayer. Disappointing, so far, perhaps the second half will get better.

I guess I'm glad I missed it then. I think it has become less amateur observing-orientated since Sir Patrick passed. I miss those days and "Newsletter time" 😢

I didn't mind Horizon - a few years back anyway. Can't say I've indulged since about 2015 but I've read it's been dumbed down
