This is an hour long Mars special looking back over past missions and looking forward to the ones coming up.

There is also a two page article by Maggie A-P in this week's RT

As a kid, I lived through the Viking era. It was a wonderful time to be alive, just like the Voyager era and the Giotto probe.

I guess I'm glad I missed it then. I think it has become less amateur observing-orientated since Sir Patrick passed. I miss those days and "Newsletter time" 😢
