JohnC260
Hi All I have been considering some bins for a little while, more so since neowise and having to trapse around for a good spot to view, borrowed my Dads bins these are more for day viewing he uses them for airshows and we used them to view Halles comet when I was a kid, so they're old, they don't have branding on them and the markings are all worn off, I can't post a picture as I have since returned them. I was initially looking at the Helios range, the naturesport but the mistral with ED glass caught my eye, is it worth spending that little bit more for the ED mistrals? would the 10x42 mistral be ok? or is the 10x50 kind of the sweet spot with bins? Thanks John
JohnC260
Gonna add the Pentax SP 50mm WP Binoculars to the maybe list.
BinocularSky
I didn't get on with the Naturesport (but that was ~20 years ago, and I think they've changed since then; some people really like them). A friend has a Mistral which he really likes. I've reviewed the Pentax and like them a lot - review here.
