cat's eye disappointment

Hi everyone.

This is nearly 2 1/2 hours and still barely an outline. Does anyone have any advice on capturing this?

When i've imaged this, it was with a mono CCD and narrowband filters. It tends to light up  with OIII.

Longer exposures maybe.

Its teeny tiny on a 700D at 1000mm.

Hi and thanks for your prompt replies.

So longer exposures and OIII but it's gonna be the same size, dslr or otherwise I'm afraid. Maybe try our UHC. I believe that's good for OIII. Will see if I can get the 10" f5 for next weekend.

Not given up. Yet. Although the temptation of Cepheus, Cygnus and down toward Saggitarius is gonna be hard to justify much longer.
