Hi complete beginer to astromany hoping you guys can show me a trick or 2 my scope is a sky watcher 8" reflecter on a EQ 5 mount with a set of eyepices wich my dad brought me for christmas

Welcome Andromeda. We have a Celestron 8" relector on the CG5 mount which I think is similar to yours. We have been very pleased with our scope so far - just waiting for a few more clear nighhts though! Hopefully you will enjoy using your Skywatcher as much as we do our C8N. There is lots of helpful information and advice available on here.
