how to mount on top?

i have a 8 edge hd and i got a es ed80 to mount on top.  i know to put a vixen dovetail on it on top like the one on bottom but what do i use to connect a vixen mount to a vixen mount?  im really struggling with this.  i dont want rings cuz of the look but there has to be a way to keep it with a clean look i mean it mounts to a mount right?  please help

I assume you have the ED80 fitted with rings and mounted on a Vixen dovetail?

I had to mount an ED80 on a Meade 12" and used a 25 x 12 mm aluminium channel long enough to fit the 12" and then just drilled holes to take the ED80 rings.

You could probably use a vixen dovetail long enough to fit the 8" and remount the ED80 rings to it??

ADM do a fixing kit that fits on the edge with adjusting rings for the 80ed, also lets you move the top mount around for balance

Yeah,

Not cheap but the ADM mini rail system works very well.

I use it on my C11 to mount the spectrograph and an eFinder.
