A single frame shot with the 450d on the C80ED with a 2xTC, a Tal x2 Barlow and an Antares 5x Barlow (x20, F150). Murder to focus, and don't breathe or move anywhere within a 10 foot radius whilst in use...

An interesting little experiment, it won't be repeated, it's just too damn hard.

need a filter to combat that dispersion.

Hi John,

Open the image...

Selecty the channels tab (in the Layers/Channels/Paths) "window"

Make sure all channels have "eyes" (visible) but just select one channel (RED) use the move tool (Arrow with a cross below right) and re-align that channel.. Then deselect the RED channel and do the same for BLUE...

Cheers. I guess I'd have to load a resized jpg into registax as it won't take the 450d cr2 file, and the image size is also too big. Much easier this way.

Hi John,

I wasn't suggesting that you did it for this image... It was a general heads up that RGB align is the way to fix these issues and its available in registrax if you use a webcam to grab the images...Really easy to do in PC/CS for DSLR images...
