Which magazine?

Birthday approaching and as work starts to get back to normal and long train trips will be a weekly occurance, I was thinking of asking my other half for a magazine subscription. It seems in the UK the two main choices are Astronomy Now and Sky at Night, but which is the better especially for a beginner?

I have both. Sky At Night on the app is a bit lame and you can read through it in a few minutes - I haven't bought it in paper form for a few years. Astronomy Now is great and a good read whether as PDF or actual paper.

So my preference is AN.

I currently take both,  but If I had to make a choice I would opt for AN.

I take AN, but TBH I'm getting a bit narked by their monthly guide. There used to be a "how to image it" at least for the star DSO, but now it's mearly "how to observe". As a 100% imager I'm feeling a bit unloved.

Thanks all. I've gone for AN, it includes 6 free back copies in PDF which will keep me going until I get my first one come tbrough.
