contrast boost filter

Does anyone have an opinion or experience with the Baader contrast boost filter. The blurb says it's good for Ha viewing?

Compared the contrast booster with the neodynum and just liked the neodynum better. Found the yellow tint of the contrast booster off putting so quickly sold it on.

So yes the contrast booster works well if you don’t mind the yellow tint.

John, was this experience with solar Ha. I'm using a quark?

No, never used it for HA.

I tried one with a PST some time ago but the difference was very minimal 

plus I'm not a fan of adding filters to an EP unless necessary .. since it's only 

one wavelength I doubt it would/should have an affect at all ?

to Solar ha.
