NEW iOptron CEM70 Center Balanced Equatorial GoTo Mount

The new iOptron CEM70 Centre Balanced Equatorial mount is essentially an upgraded version of their bestseller CEM60 mount.

Higher payload capacity, an integrated iPolar and low periodic error (PE) <±3.5 arcsec. 

There is also a version with iOptron's new integrated 'iGuider' guiding scope and camera. 

Both models are in stock 🙂

Just to confirm, the cheaper version DOES NOT have USB 3.0 just the more expensive version, which is a lot extra to pay for jut USB 3 when I already have autoguider.... 🤔🤔

Yes. If you already own a guidescope and guide camera then the regular CEM70 will be more attractive.

Not getting one now, but as I have that TriPier, it would be good to know for the future 😊

Yes. For the photos we put them on an iOptron Tri-Pier Portable Pier Tripod.

@FLO you might want to consider making your photo watermarks monochrome. The colour ones have the unfortunate effect of making the mount look like it's going rusty.

Any adapters required for mounting or is it a straight bolt on so to speak?
