First real effort on the Milky Way, went to the river front at 1am to shoot this, glad there were a few people chilling out who kept me company

22 x 50s exposure @ ISO800, stacked in DSS with darks, processed in PI/PS/LR

Nice image. Lot of atmosphere.

I like the way your eye is led from top left to bottom centre following the Milky Way to the illuminated mast to the boat.

Good idea,  I was thinking something closer to Chelmsford as a test, perhaps Hanningfield reservoir...

Very nice Dom, not sure how I missed this! I have a Samyang 14/2.8, but not actually used it yet! You've inspired me to get it out again. Lovely image.
