And the required specification for the cable is ???  i.e. voltage\current capacity, flexibility, diameter etc ??

12V/3A max - should be flexible, ideally coiled.

These are the best available. Not cheap but worth it.

I use one with my AZ-GTi. 👍🏻

Sorry guys, I assumed too much. The cable should be male to male 2.1mm 5.5mm reverse polarity (centre positive).

Think this is the one.

Can’t find the specs for the output of ypur battery but would expect it to be centre positive.

Hmm....I think it's this one : https://www.firstlightoptics.com/astronomy-cables-leads-accessories/lynx-astro-silicone-power-cable-21mm-dc-jack-to-21mm-dc-jack-with-coupler.html ... no ... actually this one : https://www.firstlightoptics.com/astronomy-cables-leads-accessories/lynx-astro-silicone-power-cable-21mm-dc-jack-to-21mm-dc-jack.html

Thanks for pointing me to the right direction! Ordering now.

Then personally, I'd get some of this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-Core-EWK-Silicone-Rubber-DC-Wiring-Cable-4-amp-2x0-25mm-Flexible-LED-Solar/163699838807? and suitable connectors, and make up my own ....

Unfortunately I don't have the tools for this and it wouldn't be a proper job. The last time I did any wiring like this is 25 years ago :)

What's wrong with these?

As John said, quality. I don't mind cheap ebay products. I bought plenty and they are satisfactory. In theory those Lynx cables should be of higher quality so why not. I don't mind spending a little more for a better quality promise. Also, orange is cool :D

More like Astro Tax to me! I'm that tight I use those cheap solderless connectors and make my own cable!
