NGC2264 - Christmas Tree and Cone Nebula

My first attempt at the Christmas Tree and Cone - I definitely think it needs alot more time on this object - I only had time for 9 x 10 minute Ha subs last night though!

Scope: Astro Professional 102ED

Guiding: Williams Optics ZS66 & SX Guidehead

Good stuff; smooth (very) and well-framed. Any chance of a black and white rendition? I find the red a bit overpowering, personally. I don't think we should be afraid of black and white.

Again, I think that is a great way to compose the shot.

Yes, this does need a lot of subs, it is rather faint.

The great thing is, you can keep adding to it.
