ASI Studio

When I open ASI Studio I get a notification of a new version. However, when I download it I get the following error. I am using Windows 10 Pro - any ideas why it won't work?

You have to uninstall ZWO and then do a fresh install in order to download the 64 bit version and then you should see the updated version.

Thanks John. So why didn't ZWO just say that instead of saying that you can update?

While struggling to install the update did see a pop up error message that mentioned that the previous version needed uninstalling. 

Agree they should simply had a pop up at the start that said remove any previous version before proceding. 🙄

No. It just said something about downloading the update.
