Hi, I'm wondering if there's an option to remove the comet graphic in the image below. I can't see it anywhere in the options and a google search hasn't revealed anything.

Hi, thanks Alex. I don't want to remove the comet from Stellarium, I just want to remove the graphic. It's quite large and takes over the screen a bit.

In version 0.20.0 was added comet ATLAS with error in data - why just you don't update the data for comet through SSE plugin?

Thank's that's worked. Is there a reason for such a large comet graphic though?

Ah!  That'll explain why I couldn't replicate the OP's problem by adjusting various settings! :)

Most likely the bad data predicted the cometary fragments to be much brighter than reality.

Good !

I was just about to post what Alex said !!

Re "large comet graphic"  To see it easily,,, I often modify a comet's parameters in the stellarium file "ssystem_minor.ini" so that I can see it at whatever zoom level I am looking, handy when unfamiliar with a comet and I am searching for suitable nearby stars for charting a hop to it. When selecting a nearby star to get its info/suitability one can easily mislay the comet at the params set by the minorplanets import, especially if the comet label is not showing.
