Leg won't open on my eq6 mount.

Hi i am looking for some advice please.Two of the legs will open on my eq6 mount,but there is one which will won't open.I have tried WD-40 on the small black handle but it will not move.Do any one have any ideas what i can do Thanks.Mark

Yes, I've had this.   Just a slight deformation in the circularity of the tube and it sticks a treat.    Ok when retracting, a right royal pain when trying to extend.

I found that a rotation as I pulled helped a bit.  Alas,  my particular one just kept getting worse.   

Keeping it permanently extended was not an option so I  collapsed it to it's smallest height and only use it for the big 10" Newtonian.

Thanks i will give it a try, i only wanted to open up the legs to use a refractor.The legs' are always lower to use my reflector Thanks.Mark
