Mercury and venus from the 19th May

Recommended Posts

32 degrees heat when i brought the scope out of the obsy at 4:30pm, i winder why the view was a little "wobbly"

Luckily later in the evening everything had cooled down somewhat!

Mercury was a fairly easy spot around 8:30 below Venus. A superb contrasting view from the two inner planets. The giant slender crescent of Venus and the small gibbous disc of Mercury!

Both planets captured with my C9.25, Asi290mm, X1.8 Barlow and Astronomik 807 filter.
