Funny night last night, clear, steady but there was a fair bit of moisture up there. I think if there was a touch of wind, to move things around a touch, it would have been superb. Took me over two hours to get going for some unknown reason so I didn't quite get the exposure time I was hoping for but I'm pretty chuffed with the result :). Unless it's clear either tonight or tomorrow, I'll do the RGB the next available moonless night.

Anyways M81 & 82. Total exposure time: 3 hours 6 mins (31 x 6 mins). Taken with an Atik 16hr with IDAS and IR cut filters in the nosepiece through a WO ZS66. Guided by a WO ZS110, QHY5 and PHD all atop an EQ6 pro. Stacked in DSS and processed in ye photoshoppe.

Thanks all :). Looks like the RGB won't be happening for a couple of weeks (assuming we have a clear night!) thanks to ol' Luna but it's top of my 'stuff to do without a Ha filter' list. Fingers crossed...
