Need to do more work on the setup but have tried in various areas of the sky...

and ultimately it will be piggybacked on the scopes...

Now to check an hours worth of 20 s subs for meteor trails...

That's a realy nice shot. It clearly shows the variable stars RY UMa, S UMa,

T Uma (predicted to reach maximum brightness on the 17th) and RS UMa which is

due to reach maxima on the 7th February.

My EOS-CCD clip in has arrived so i'll be doing a lot more of this DSLR widefield stuff in the future... It gives me soemthing to do outside the obs during long imaging runs...

No Mick the filter only arrived yesterday... looks quite promising I was taking pics of streetlights with it last night... I was playing round with a 2" IDAS taped to the front of the lens so that might have been use for the Um shot...

I also picked up a Nikon/EOS Adaptor so I can use My 10-20mm Sigma , 18-70mm AF-S, 180mm Sigma f3.5 APO and 70-300 AF-S VRII Nikon Fit lenses with the canon bodies as well now and my Nikon fit x2 TC... so plenty of options
