Quick M101

Here is a  DSLR image of M101.   ISO 400, 25 x 2 min subs ED80  f/6.3. There is a lot of background noise which is annoying.

Excellent Peter, for 50 mins there isnt much more you could hope for ufortunately!  If you get another 7 hours it you will see a huge improvement on the background noise, I found 8 hours my sweet spot with a DSLR on an ED80.
