M98

A slightly less popular target, but I found the colour channels to be very strong, I had to tone the saturation down which is unusual in my process workflow.

M98 is some 52 million light years from us and around 148 000 light years in diameter. I am blown away by the myriad of distant galaxies just discernible in the background, I will return to this subject and try to go really deep!

Esprit 150/ASI 178 dual rig, 90 x 2 mins L, 30 x 2 mins RGB, calibrated and processed in APP and GIMP.
