Not getting my hopes up yet, Comet Atlas is probably not going to be visible down here.

I was trying to work that out last night.  I think it might not be visible from the UK until into the summer?

It strikes me that comet observing is a bit like following the England football team in major tournaments. Lots of enthusiasm and initially optimistic predictions but, eventually, the inevitable sense of anti-climax

I would say that's why I follow England Rugby  instead, they usually progress further but  it often ends the same as the football...
