NGC 5474

This is a peculiar dwarf galaxy one of the companion galaxies of M101 the Pinwheel galaxy has strongly distorted the disc of this galaxy.

Imaged over two nights 26-03-20 / 11-04-20  both nights were poor as there was high cloud around.

Luminance of 21 x 300

RGB of 6 x 300 each

all binned 2 x 2

This one cropped up in the corner of some M101 subs I was testing recently and I was curious about it, but forgot to go look it up.  Thanks for this.

Some stacked L on a 510mm refractor - obviously small & minimal detail in comparison to the Celestron 11.

Nice capture. 

I know what you mean about high cloud. Just makes the image hazy when I get it here. And a devil to process out.

Great image, nice to see some of the lesser know targets getting some attention.

Did some sky scanning on Stellarium and came up with a few possible targets my 115 EDT might be able to get. Whale and Crowbar would make a good double.

Thanks for the feedback it is an interesting target I try and find targets which have not been imaged much especially at this FL.
