anyone in south yorkshire?

wondering if someone can reccomend some dark skies in Syorks, i need somewhere not too far away where i can just set up for the night, the town i live in just has too much light pollution.

Hi mate,i'm from Sheffield,but its probably not too wise to ask me for much info just yet,as i'm new to astonomy and have yet to buy my first scope!.I will say this though,there is a great spot near me which I like to drive to some nights,which is away from all light sources and is also next to a large lake/dam,which is pleasant.The place I am referring to is a place called Redmires Dam,just past a place called Lodge Moor (in Sheffield).Do you know it?.Its very high up,some say one of the highest points in Sheffield.

When I manage to get set up myself this will be my first place to try out,as its so dark and quiet.
