Hi All

There are many posts on this forum about Starguiders, they are probably the most often recommended range to new users looking for an eyepiece upgrade.

In my experience the 5, 8 and 12mm are very nicely corrected and should be good in all scopes. The 18 and 25 are best with longer focal ratios, at a guess 8+, but I've not tested to confirm that.

The 3 is a bit soft, so I wouldn't worry about that one and the 15 I've never tried as you don't need anything between the 12 and 18. @Louis D has tested it and I think rates it similarly to the 18.

The Starguider lenses are great value for money. 60 degree, large lens, adjustable eye cup & really good quality build & views. Good upgrade from the eyepiece’s supplied with scopes. I have 5,8,12,15 & 18mm & Baader Morpheus in 6.5,9 & 14mm & the Starguider compare well at the cost.
