Oh the frustrations !!! ....   here's the work flow without the expletives....

1)  my rig is set up for galaxies, so I had to use the guide scope's shorter focal length  to image.

2) hmmm?? .....too light to get an accurate sighting on a star for  focus...... lets use the Moon

3) Moon obscured by cloud.....  M45 and Venus are getting close to my neighbours roof....

4) Maybe a gap in the clouds coming up......

5) No, not this time.....maybe that gap instead....

6)  hmmmm....M45 and Venus are getting closer to my neighbours roof....

7) Cannot wait any longer , I can see Venus, will have to go for it....

 Just !!!

.... and it's gonna be even tighter tonight......   Good luck everybody.
