Four small screws' on a Dove bar

Hi' Looking for some advice, on my Dove tail bars they come with four small screws two on each side of the bar.What i like to know what are they used for Thanks.Mark

Probably for what's called orthogonal alignment, basically getting the scope aligned with mount axis.

These screws allow you "re-set" the Dec alignment of the OTA - to bring it 90 degs to the RA axis - the "error" is called Cone error.

Having said all that, I am pretty sure I have cone error, but have never been brave enough to make the adjustments, as I am sure I will just make it worse, so I tend to live with the cone error.  GoTOs work fine one side of the Meridian, not so on the other side.

OTA - Optical Tube Assembly. Basically referring to your telescope tube.

It’s to correct for cone error, or rather reduce your cone error. I wouldn’t worry about it for now. If you are finding your GOTO accuracy is dire and exclude other causes, maybe revisit the topic.
