scitmon
Hello all, I am trying SGPro for the first time right now, and I'm trying to get it working with my Canon 700d. I taking test shots at 5 second exposures with ISO800 and all I'm seeing is a grey image which does not look debayered. I can just make out dust bunnies. Any ideas? scitmon
Ok having a bit more success now I think, is the Readout noise setting important? And if so what do I set it to?
Dr_Ju_ju
I'm using a ZWO camera, but for me the Readout noise is set to 1.
symmetal
SGP doesn't do any debayering, even for previews so your preview image will be grey with the bayer grid visible if you zoom in. Your stacking program will do the debayering. The readout noise parameter setting is optional and is only used in calculating the theoretical ideal exposure time displayed in the image statistics panel. It has no other function.
