Moon 2/7/2020 some views with 625 mm and QHY5III178M

Recommended Posts

I had made a few films in case the weather got worse. The conditions were like everywhere at the moment not terrible at the beginning cirrus then a beautiful halo around the Moon with usual high frequency turbulence.

I tried targets that I did not have because on the others it was impossible to be able to do better than those in stock. I had to finish in IR807 so not too many fine details.

Sorry for the quality but it is the sky that commands.

Great set of images.... My favourite is Darwin, don't think I've ever noticed those 'wrinkles' on the crater floor before.

Well done for getting out there in the poor weather I cant imagine it's very easy or quick to set up that beast of a scope!

Impressive lunar images, and an impressive scope! How does it perform on planetary targets? You have a better view than us in the UK of Saturn and Jupiter for a few years because of your lower latitude at Mazan (44 degrees N).
