This is the first time I have seen it using skywatcher skyliner and standard eyepiece got 2 barlow lens coming tomoz and a new eyepiece so hope it's a clear night tomoz

Yer I just got my new eyepiece and balow lens and for £140 not to happy with the eyepiece hope its something am doing wrong

The colour is coming from the Nebula and is a good thing.... like this one...

Yer I just got barlow lens and 14mm eyepiece that I seen ppl saying was good but I was just trying it out and couldn't focus good enough just hoping I was looking at something to close

Trapezium nicely split and some nebula detail in that shot.  If that's a quick snap with the phone I'd say you've a decent set of optics there.

Longer exposure (which might be tricky with no tracking), and probably higher mag. You could also try high ISO settings if you use a camera app or Pro mode that allows it.

These two are the first one I ever took, using an iPhone 5 in a 4" refractor, quite possibly with an OIII filter looking at the green, and probably my best effort which was with a Samsung S9 in a 7" mak, on a tracking mount.

The latest phones have much more sensitive sensors so are worth upgrading to. Huawei and Samsung probably best.

Latest Samsung update have given us 30 sec exposures in pro mode. S10 and S9 only I think though, not sure.
