Heart and Soul - 41 x 3m 3nm Ha subs, 135mm f2.5 Asahi Super Takumar lens, ASI 1600MM-Cool with gain of 139.  Calibrated with darks and flats.  Calibrated, aligned and stacked in PixInsight.  Custom stretch.  Scaled in GIMP.

Very nice, I like the framing very much, capturing the full, fainter extent of the Heart.

Please excuse my ignorance, what are you doing to the image when it is ‘scaled in GIMP’?

The size of the image is reduced from 4000+ pixels wide to 1500 and similarly for the height.  The upload is reduced from something like 32MB to around 1MB.  If I were to upload 32MB for every image I post I would soon run out of my allocation.

That's come out really well Gina.  With such a large FOV we are seeing bits that normally get cut off.
